The Mod NX backplate (standard version) is compatible with MagSafe on the level of charging. In general, the magnetic force will vary depending on the case used. For a better user experience, we recommend our MagSafe compatible cases, which are available for select iPhone models.Kindly note that we're not able to guarantee compatibility with unofficial and third-party magnetic wireless chargers.

The product has not passed MFM certification; however, RHINOSHIELD product team has applied innovative design to create a MagSafe magnetic ring with magnetic strength exceeding MFM certification standards, delivering exceptionally strong magnetic attachment.

When the device is dropped, the first and strongest impact is most likely going to be on a corner rather than directly on the back. The Mod NX frame will absorb most of the impact force in the majority of daily use scenarios. If the backplate receives impacts, most of the energy will be transferred to the Mod NX frame due to the physical properties of the material and the design of the case. Aside from being impact protective, the Mod NX backplate is also scratch-resistant*, highly transparent, durable, and completely non-toxic.*The degree of scratch resistance will vary depending on usage and time.

For daily cleaning, we suggest using wet wipes. To sanitize, wipe it swiftly with a cloth and a small amount of rubbing alcohol (less than 75%). If you are using a Mod NX backplate with a printed design on it, we suggest avoiding the printed parts while using rubbing alcohol.

With the Mod NX frame, our Mod NX backplate surpasses the US military drop test standard. According to our tests, it can stand drops over 11 feet, absorbing 90% of the impact energy.
