PosterLad is the creative project of Czech artist Vratislav Pecka, who transforms the traditional poster into a pure artistic medium rather than a tool for advertisement. Influenced by Bauhaus principles and the visual aesthetics of the 1990s, Pecka’s work combines simple geometric forms with smooth gradients to create bold, memorable compositions. Since launching the project in 2016, his distinctive and playful style has gained international recognition, leading to numerous design awards and exhibitions worldwide. From his studio in Prague, Pecka continues to explore and expand the expressive potential of poster art, redefining how this format can function as a modern form of visual communication.
