Jimmy Liao is an illustrator and picture book author. He published his works in numerous newspapers and magazines, before producing his first picture books in 1998: “Secrets in the woods” and “A fish that smiled at me”. His works are well recognized by its bold colors and simple and mischievous style, which often alludes to a poetic world, filled with deep emotions.
