Coloring your Rhino Shield Logo May 28 2015, 1 Comment

This is a pretty cool iPhone case customisation submitted by one of the Rhino fan. Who doesn't love a bit of DIY.

We will show you how to mod the logo of your RhinoShield bumper case to be any color that you choose. This personalisation will work for Apple iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6.

This mod is super simple and all you need is some Acrylic or PU based ink/Paint of any color that you like.

Apply the ink on the Logo, then smear the ink a little bit around the logo area. The ink should flow into the grove pretty easily.

Wipe off the excessive ink. Try to wipe it off as soon as the ink sinks in the grove.

If you feel more adventurous, you can even make the gradient colour. So you can match your rhino shield with this Nike trainer for example.

Simply repeat the procedure with a different colour. In this example, we use red in order to match the logo with my Nike trainer.

 Job done! Gradient colour.

We would strongly recommend Acrylic based ink as they are super easy to flow and clean.

This is some examples we did in the labs.

We do hope you like this, do let us know what you think by submitting your personalised CrashGuard to Instagram with#Rhinoshield or #Evolutivelabs.
